Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Cultivating Awareness, Clarity, and Balance
What Is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the practice of intentionally paying attention to the present moment with openness and without judgment. In therapy, mindfulness helps you become more aware of thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations — so you can respond more intentionally rather than react automatically.
At Living Deliberately, mindfulness is integrated into treatment to support individuals experiencing:
Anxiety and chronic worry
Stress and burnout
Emotional overwhelm
Difficulty with focus or rumination
Depression and low motivation
Mindfulness is not about “emptying your mind.” It’s about strengthening your ability to notice patterns and create space for choice.
A Different Relationship With Your Thoughts
Practical Skills for Real Life
Mindfulness-based therapy here is structured and accessible. It may include guided awareness practices, grounding techniques, body-based regulation strategies, and cognitive observation skills — all adapted to your comfort level.
This work is collaborative and paced intentionally. You won’t be asked to adopt a lifestyle or belief system. Instead, we focus on building sustainable skills that support emotional balance, resilience, and focus in everyday life.
Mindfulness services are available in person in Baltimore, MD and via secure telehealth.
